Data Scientist
Since my PhD in Physics, 11 years ago, I have been working on data analysis, using statistics and machine learning techniques in both academic and commercial environments.
What I am passionate about is interrogating data to understand and solve problems. This passion lead me to analyse data in various fields, from science to industry.
I applied machine learning to projects from predictive analytics to gps tracks clustering as a Data Scientist consultant.
I analysed DNA sequencing data and assembled genomes as a Bioinformatician at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute [Paper]
I contributed to unravel a tiny little bit of the internal structure of protons as a Physicist [Paper].
